Nordstjernen Hotell is a small and pleasant hotel located in Narvik on the city's main street. It was opened in 1970 and is still run by the same proprietor. Narvik has a lot of offer. The alpine skiing centre at Fagernesfjellet, overlooking the city centre, has been voted one of the 10 best skiing resorts in the world, and the best in Scandinavia.
